ELECTRIC
ARC
FURNACES

Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) are used in metallurgy for the production of steel from scrap and of monocrystalline silicon from minerals made of silicon.

Used for recycling scrap iron or stainless steel (Inox), arc furnaces are also used for melting pre-reduced material from mineral, or cast iron briquettes, when the availability of scrap is insufficient or economically disadvantageous.

The scrap is melted through an electric arc which is lit by three cylindrical electrodes consumables in graphite, which enter the furnace crucible from the vault. Thanks to the extensive experience in the metallurgical sector, our electric furnaces are distinguished by the innovative design and the incredible manufacturing quality. They are capable of using different types of charges (scrap, hot & cold DRI, HBI, etc.).

The electric arc furnaces, thanks to the considerable range of charging products, allow customers to choose the mixture based on availability or economic advantage, without affecting productivity.

Our company is capable of supplying electric arc furnaces with 1 or 2 hydraulic cylinders, lower vat and upper vat, box-shape electrodes holder arms in bimetallic sheets (steel-copper), cooled vault, cooled panels, burners and oxygen injectors, water-cooled injectors installed on the vat, injectors for coal, lime and other materials, electrical components and automation, electrode adjustment system, EBT automatic cleaner, EBT automatic filling system, automatic temperature sampling, refuse door and automatic cleaning cart, liquid weight control system, control and management cabin.
