{"id":1132,"date":"2022-09-29T07:33:47","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T07:33:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orangeco.it\/?page_id=1132"},"modified":"2023-05-17T12:39:41","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T10:39:41","slug":"linee-di-colata-continua","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/orangeco.it\/en\/aluminum\/continuous-casting-lines\/","title":{"rendered":"Linee di colata continua"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">CONTINUOS<BR>CASTING <BR> LINES<\/p>\n<\/h1>\n<h2>\n<p>Continuous casting is the process that leads directly from liquid metal to the semi-finished product. \nIn this way, it is possible to produce bars, profiles, strips and tubes both in steel and in non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminium.<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/shutterstock_1579820071-copia.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>In particular, with regard to the latter metal, the number of alloys that can be used with this process is increasing. \nThe absence of heating and remelting processes in the production cycle, in some cases up to \nrecasting, makes the various continuous casting processes quite interesting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/shutterstock_1550879660.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The reduction of costs is intuitively a peculiar advantage and will be a source of savings, as the higher is the melting point of the material, the higher is the casting temperature. \nIt is therefore not surprising that roughly 90% of steel (melting temperature = approximately 1400 \u00b0C) processed worldwide has adopted this procedure in the production cycle. \nIn the aluminium sector (melting temperature = approximately 700 \u00b0C) the processes that include continuous casting are used in lower, yet still important, percentages.\nThe products obtained from continuous casting can be divided into two distinct types. \nThe first one leads to the production of plates with a reduced thickness and a wide width, used as stock for thin sheets, cooling fins, capsules and cans. \nThe second one is characterized by the continuous production of bars, which can be used without further processing or after subsequent<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>rolling, to produce wire rods of various diameters. L\\u2019assenza di processi di riscaldamento e rifusione nel ciclo produttivo, in alcuni casi sino alla rifusione, rende molto interessanti i vari processi di colata continua. La riduzione dei costi \\u00e8 intuitivamente un vantaggio peculiare e sar\\u00e0 fonte di risparmio tanto pi\\u00f9 quanto il materiale presenta un punto di fusione pi\\u00f9 elevato e perci\\u00f2 una temperatura di colata pi\\u00f9 alta. In particolare per quanto riguarda quest\\u2019ultimo metallo, \\u00e8 sempre pi\\u00f9 elevato il numero di leghe utilizzabili con questo processo. Non \\u00e8 perci\\u00f2 sorprendente che circa il 90% dell\\u2019acciaio (temperatura di fusione = 1400 \\u00b0C circa) trattato nel mondo abbia tale processo nel ciclo di produzione. Nel settore alluminio (temperatura di fusione = 700 \\u00b0C circa) i processi comprendenti colate continue sono utilizzati in percentuali inferiori, ma comunque importanti. I prodotti ottenuti da colata continua si possono suddividere in due tipologie distinte. La prima porta alla produzione per colata continua di placche con spessore ridotto e ampia larghezza utilizzate come stock per foglio sottile, alette di raffreddamento, capsule e lattine.
